Railway Laboratories: seven world-class railway labs

EURAILTEST is coordinating seven experienced railway labs owned by the French Railways (SNCF) and the Paris Metro (RATP). Relying on EURAILTEST means benefiting from the know-how of more than 400 technicians and engineers working in these railway labs.

  • Italy: railway tests for the approval of the AGV Italo (Alstom Rolling Stock)
  • France: railway tests for the approval of the Avanto Tram Train (Siemens Rolling Stock)

Eurailtest and Partners Perform Tests on Stadler’s Flirt LEX

Eurailtest, the Rolling Stock Engineering Centre (CIM) and the Railway Test Agency (AEF) are performing tests on the Flirt LEX, a self-propelled trainset designed by Stadler for the cross-border service between France and Switzerland, of the same specifications used in the two countries' local service.

Eurailtest Contributing to Crossrail Regional Express Line in UK

At the end of 2017, Eurailtest submitted a bid in response to the invitation to tender issued by the Alstom, TSO, Costain Group joint venture to provide a complete service package using the skills and competencies of its main test laboratories, for the tests on the 21km of the line routed underground.
