Aluminothermic Weld
Steconfer has specialised certified welders for the existing aluminothermic welding systems and rail type with experience in worldwide projects.
Welding operations follow the ‘short pre-heating’ procedure in accordance with agreed standards. The works include aluminothermic welding for grooved and vignole rail, profile grinding of installed welds to meet required tolerances, ultrasonic testing of installed welds, and process installation in accordance with aluminothermic welding kits.
