Flame Retardant Rubber Spring Roller Certified According to TSI WAG (ISO 5660-1: 2015)

The rubber roller spring can be used in bogies, both as primary or as secondary suspension. By using the rubber roller spring suspension for freight wagons, the driving behaviour – even in unfavourable conditions with track defects- is improved and the noise is reduced. By the 3-dimensional design of the suspension, the force level for keeping the track is reduced and thus a lower wear level is achieved.

Rex has been around for many years as a producer of rubber roller springs and is recognised as a certified supplier to the railways in Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Also well-known manufacturers of bogies belong to our customers.

Rex has developed a new compound for the rubber roller springs which meets the required dynamic and mechanical properties, and complies with the TSI WAG (ISO 5660 -1: 2015) for flame retardant applications.
