New Halogen Free Raw Material U48X for Unex Cable Tray 66

A new halogen-free thermoplastic raw material named U48X is being launched as part of the Unex non-metallic cable tray family 66.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, it has a resistance to temperatures up to 90ºC and a V0 grade in the flammability test UL94.

It is intrinsically resistant to corrosion and does not require maintenance. Being insulating, these cable trays require neither earthing nor surveillance.

This new U48X-made halogen-free cable tray includes vertical and horizontal insulating supports, which fulfils the BS EN 61537*.

It will be available in both versions, perforated and continuous, from 1 January 2018.
