TDM offer a wide range of Passenger Help Points and Emergency Telephones, supplied in the enclosure appropriate to the installation environment and using the technology required; VoIP (via optical fibre, two-wire or CAT5), GSM and GSM-R.
TDM's central operating and dispatching terminal for the NIS platform is used to handle all the functions of the system including: emergency and information calls, GSM-R dispatching, announcements, radio calls, phone calls, text messages and public address.
Following a successful trial by Network Rail, TDM's GSM-R Trackside Telephone has been approved for use on railway infrastructure for which Network Rail is the Infrastructure Manager.
