OMK has delivered and installed more than 260 seats at Birmingham New Street railway station in the UK.
Network rail chose the Flite seating system in black moulded polyurethane with integral power arms, which offer passengers USB and mains power charging. Flite was awarded a Design Guild Mark for its innovative design and carries a 25-year guarantee.
OMK also installed its new touch down desk, Bridge, which is designed to provide a convenient place to work and charge devices.
This is one of a number of projects undertaken by OMK in 2019, under its framework agreement with Network Rail. This framework extends to OMK’s full range of products: Trax, Seville and Flite seating systems.
