Strategic Collaboration with SandenVendo-feature-image

Vending Automater ApS and SandenVendo have announced a strengthened strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating the development, marketing, and sales of purpose-designed vending solutions for railway applications throughout Europe.

Rail environments present unique challenges including continuous vibration, extended duty cycles, limited maintenance access, stringent safety requirements, and varying national regulations demanding more than standard adaptations. This partnership combines SandenVendo’s proven industrial vending platforms with Vending Automater’s extensive expertise in rail integration and custom engineering to create scalable, robust, and certifiable systems.

The joint portfolio encompasses coffee, snack, fresh-food, and cold-drink concepts, offered as standalone units or integrated combinations tailored to the needs of rail operators, OEMs, and onboard service providers.

Oliver Gaege, Head of Export Sales at SandenVendo, commented: “We are very pleased to consolidate our long-standing collaboration with Vending Automater. We see a strong strategic fit between our companies and are confident that together we can capture a meaningful share of this technically complex market, a significant step from stationary to mobility vending applications.”

Troels Bennike, CCO at Vending Automater ApS, added: “Across Europe, we see a clear shift toward fully compliant vending systems designed specifically for trains. With this partnership, we are well positioned to translate proven industrial platforms into rail-ready solutions.”

Michael Knudsen and Ryan Lund Mejlstrup, partners and owners at Vending Automater ApS, noted: “SandenVendo is an ideal partner, a leading European manufacturer focused on quality, sustainability, and innovation. This collaboration provides a solid foundation for long-term success in the rail sector.”
