Client-tailored toilet modules (WC) for trains
SB Alte offers standard toilet modules, as well as customised Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant toilets adapted for people with reduced mobility (PRM).
All modules come with either a permanent vacuum system or a vacuum pressure system, and can be equipped with freshwater tanks (FWT), wastewater tanks (WWT) and greywater tanks (GWT) made out of polyethylene or stainless-steel, as per request.
SB Alte’s technology is consistently updated to feature the latest in energy-efficiency, environmental engagement, sustainability, fire and smoke regulations and recyclability of materials.
Modern heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) for rail vehicles
SB Alte’s heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems (HVAC) systems are equipped with the latest engineering and technology.
Offered as a compact or split option, these lightweight, highly reliable units have a low maintenance cost and provide a unique solution that reinforces the company’s position in the market.
The temperature of the HVAC units is regulated automatically, regardless of the external weather conditions and the amount of passengers on-board, providing optimal comfort to customers.
Products are tested in SB Alte’s climate chambers (from -20ºC to 50ºC), where new components are also tested as part of ongoing research.
Composite railway interiors
SB Alte specialises in the development of comprehensive interior solutions for trains, metros, tramways, and high-speed trains.
Available products include ceilings, lighting, HVAC ducts, side walls, partition walls, door pillars, and screen covers, using a combination of aluminium, stainless-steel, glass and composite materials. The company works with metals, sandwiches, composites, painting, welding and bonding.
SB Alte also produces train interiors for new rolling stock and refurbishment projects, as well as unique, customised solutions using the latest technology in its own state-of-the-art composite manufacturing unit.
