Nitta Chemical Industrial Products Co Ltd has developed new rubber materials compliant with EN45545-2 (hazard level 2) European fire protection standards for a railway vehicle air spring system.

Products used in railway vehicles, including air springs and anti-vibration rubber bogie parts, require fire safety performance such as resistance against heat release, smoke density and toxicity.

The new rubber materials recently developed have been authorised by an inspection institute in Germany and acquired certification in compliance with the EN45545-2 European fire protection standards. They feature the special characteristics required of air spring systems.

The air springs of Nitta Chemical Industrial Products will be incorporated in a wide range of railway vehicles to improve comfort and safety.

We will exhibit our range of air springs and anti-vibration rubber for railway vehicles at the InnoTrans 2018 from 18-21 September 2018 in Berlin, Germany. Visit us at booth 702 in hall 9 at the Messe Berlin.
