Prover Technology has announced that Canadian Pacific (CP), a Class 1 railway company, has extended licensing of the Prover iLock for American Railroads solution until 2025.

This Prover iLock solution has been developed to meet the needs of CP, and consists of the Prover iLock tool suite, with a generic application defining the signalling principles of North-American railroads.

Prover and CP started working together in 2010. CP is now taking the collaboration with Prover to the next level by extending its license agreement with Prover, including the right for CP’s certified consultants to use the solution on CP’s behalf.

The Prover iLock for American Railroads solution gives CP access to state-of-the-art software tools for automating design, test and safety verification of application software for signalling systems. Benefits include reduced cost, increased capacity and improved consistency in the development of the application software. The targeted systems include control points (interlockings) implemented on one or multiple ElectroLogIXS or Microlok II controllers, with coded track circuits (Electro Code or MICROTRAX).
