MTM Designs Dustproof 24W DIN Rail Module

Individual power supplies specialist MTM Power has designed a dustproof standardised metal DIN rail modules series HSA24 with AC- (90…264 VAC) and DC (100…353 VDC) wide input range as universal compact power supplies for use under rough environmental conditions.

The vacuum encapsulated devices offer a best possible protection against dust and humidity and are especially robust against mechanical stresses like shock and vibration. They allow an efficient, cost-saving solution for different tasks where low power is needed so they are widely used for mounting circuit breakers and industrial control equipment inside equipment racks.

The 24W modules are available with single outputs 5V, 12V, 24V, and 48V. They work in a temperature range of -25 to +70°C, the cooling is free convection and they are permanent short circuit protected and need no ground load.

As a standard feature, the operational status is indicated by an LED. Due to the dimensions of 29mm x 115mm x 76mm, a multi-purpose power supply with high density is available for the user. Further features are surface mount device technology supported production, 100% burn-in test and automatic 100% final test. They comply with protection class II, the Low Voltage Directive as well as the up-to-date European standards for conforming to the EU consumer safety CE mark. The modules also have the electrical manufacturer (CB) scheme and are part of the Association for Electrical and Information Technologies (VDE) as well as quality and reliability approved (UL/cUL 508).
