DC Airco the Netherlands has received more offers for their energy efficient 24V DC split and rooftop driver cab air conditioners for DMU’s and trams.

The AC features a very low consumption with a high cooling output and no inrush current. In most cases the air conditioners can work without making any changes to the train / tram electrical system. This reliable system is also used in telecom and military applications in combination with solar power.
