Airquick (Newark) are proud to announce that their quality system has recently undergone and passed an assessment by LRQA and achieved the UKAS accredited ISO 9001:2000 standard. We chose LRQA because earlier this year they were the first certification body to achieve ISO / IEC 17021, the standards used by accreditation bodies to define the requirements for certification bodies delivering all types of management system certification.

This new standard will only be recognised by the UKAS and from the 15th of September 2008 those certification bodies not complying will lose their UKAS accreditation. UKAS accreditation was an important part of our quality system which we feel will strengthen our position and enhance our customer-focused service.
