MBB Palfinger, one of the leading manufacturers of on-board passenger systems in trains for persons with reduced mobility, shows promising innovations on the InnoTrans in hall 3.1 stand 424.

On the most important international railway exhibition, the TRAINLIFT TRV 1200 will generate special attention. It is a semi-automatic lift suitable particularly for regional trains with only one fixing on the vehicle floor. This lift is designed to transport passengers in wheelchairs between ground and vehicle floor levels. Boarding and de-boarding is very comfortable, safe and quick for the wheelchair user. The TRV 1200 lift will be available for different lifting heights up to 1.2m.

Another new lift for the rail industry is the fully automatic RTP 40 with a capacity of 400kg. It is a fully automatic twin pillar design using single acting hydraulics. The raising and stowing are powered by an electro hydraulic motor which the operator controls. Lowering and deployment are gravity operations. To ensure safe boarding and de-boarding automatically deployed handrails are fitted along with an automatic bridge plate and ramp stop.
