At the CommunicAsia 2013 trade fair, which will be held in Singapore from 18 to 21 June, KEYMILE will be in the German Pavilion presenting innovations for the expansion of high-speed broadband networks, as well as for high-reliability data transmission in dedicated networks that are centred on its MileGate multi-service access platform.

KEYMILE, a leading supplier of cutting-edge technology for communications solutions in access and transmission systems, will be presenting its latest products and solutions at Stand 1K4-07 in the German Pavilion. Visitors to the CommunicAsia 2013 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore will be able to gain an impression of the many and varied possible applications of the MileGate multi-service access platform that provides all broadband technologies for flexible FTTx expansion via copper wire and optical fibre networks with the highest possible port density.

For the extension of optical fibre networks, the MileGate family provides connections for active Ethernet (GbE-P2P) and passive networks (GPON). At the CommunicAsia 2013 KEYMILE will be presenting its GPON solution for the implementation of FTTH networks with a PON architecture. The MileGate 2880 subrack supplements the company’s portfolio for broadband access, especially in metropolitan areas. MileGate 2880 can serve up to 4,096 subscribers from one 8HU subrack. Supplying up to 1,024 subscribers from one 2HU subrack, the MileGate 2820 subrack is ideal for smaller installations.

With the new vectoring functionality of the MileGate multi-service access platform, network operators are able to offer reliable data transmission rates of up 100Mbps per subscriber, even for mass rollouts via VDSL2. To this purpose KEYMILE offers two different solutions – a vectoring controller card and a VDSL2 board with integrated vectoring unit.

The controller card is designed for operators wishing to upgrade existing VDSL2 services with vectoring. The target group of the VDSL2 board with integrated vectoring unit is network operators aiming to develop new areas and wishing to offer bandwidths of 100Mbps per subscriber from the outset. Both solutions support system level vectoring with up to 192 VDSL2 ports.

At CommunicAsia 2013, KEYMILE will also be presenting innovations for the use of MileGate in the networks of railway operators, authorities and utility companies. MileGate combines a wide range of TDM capabilities with flexible switching functionality – all Ethernet components are integrated in a modular switch. This means that a single network element can be used to create SDH or Ethernet solutions and provision traditional and Ethernet technology at the same time. The result: sustainable, future-proof solutions.
