DAMM Cellular Systems has announced the appointment of Hauke Holm as the company’s research and development (R&D) vice-president.

Hauke is an experienced leader and has a strong industry track record, most recently from Hytera Mobilfunk in Germany where he was CTO and responsible for R&D and product management.

Holm will be starting the new role from 1 June. He has more than 20 years of experience within the PMR/LMR industry and critical communications business.

DAMM owner and CTO Hans Damm says: “Hauke’s achievements and results from Hytera and fjord-e-design make him the ideal candidate for the position as VP R&D at DAMM. His strong engineering and industry knowledge combined with his innovative approach and business understanding will strongly contribute to DAMM’s strategy.

“I am confident that he will be a major asset to me and to DAMM as the company continues to build its presence globally. I am looking very much forward to getting Hauke on board.”

Hauke Holm says: “I have always been impressed by the results of DAMM’s forward-thinking approach to development as well as DAMM’s portfolio of products and solutions. I am looking forward to working closely together with Hans Damm and the management team to further develop DAMM’s technical leadership. I am dedicated to contributing to DAMM’s continued growth.”

CEO Jens Thostrup adds: “The recruitment of Hauke Holm is further proof of our strategy to invest in the best people, to develop our organisation and ultimately provide the best products and solutions to our partners and customers.”
