Vecow Releases RCX-1000 Series Computing System for Workstation Edge Computing

Vecow has introduced its rugged embedded RCX-1000 Series workstation Robust Computing System.

It is equipped with 8th generation workstation-grade Intel® Xeon® / Core i7/i5/i3 Processor (Coffee Lake) and Intel® C246 chipset, 4 SO-DIMM supports up to 128GB DDR4 memory, six-port 10G USB 3.1 Gen 2, four front-access SSD trays support RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 data protection, two compact M.2 connections, four PCI/PCIe expansion slots.

The system has fanless -40°C to 75°C operating temperature, 6V to 36V wide range power input with 80V Surge Protection, ignition power control, leading system performance, optimised operation, versatile configuration, smart manageability and industrial-grade reliability.

LGA1151 Socket supports 6-core 8th Generation Intel® Xeon® / Core™ i7/i5/i3 processor (Coffee Lake-S) running with workstation-grade Intel® C246 chipset, 4 SO-DIMM support dual channel DDR4 2666MHz up to 128GB ECC memory, as well as advanced Intel® UHD Graphics P630/630 supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 4.5 and OpenCL 2.0 API, multiple DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort display interfaces with up to ultra HD 4K resolution.

It features USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps), PCIe 3.0 (8GT/s), Multiple SATA III (6Gbps), USB 3.0 (5Gbps), PoE (1Gbps) LAN and multiple wireless connections to make seamless real-time high-speed data conveying possible, in addition to optimised power budget for optional independent graphics or any PCI/PCIe expansion functions.

Vecow RCX-1000 Series Fanless Robust Computing System serves leading system performance, power productivity, and system-oriented integration for demanding workloads in real-time embedded applications.

Multiple on-board DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort display interfaces support triple independent displays, two GigE LAN ports support iAMT 12.0, and featured are six external USB 3.1 Gen 2 connections up to 10Gbps SuperSpeed data rate, four front-access 2.5in SSD/HDD trays with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 data protection.

Wi-Fi / 4G / 3G / LTE / GPRS / UMTS is featured for seamless wireless data transfer, 4 COM RS-232/422/485, 2 M.2 expansions, 32 Isolated DIO, 6V to 36V wide range power input with 80V surge protection. Configurable ignition power control is available with remote management functions, remote power switch.

The system is EN50155 and EN50121-3-2 compliant, featuring four PCI/PCIe expansion slots with optimised power budget. Vecow RCX-1000 Series Fanless Robust Computing System features integrated functions for AI-oriented Computer Vision applications in harsh environment.
