Using the new system, operators are expected to gain visibility into workflow by locating rolling stock in both indoor and outdoor areas of rail yard.
TYM is built on companies’ ultra-wideband RTLS, which is designed to provide accurate, reliable location data, said Ubisense.
TYM also provides real-time visibility of assets to operations and scheduling departments, integration of all existing software into a unified dashboard view, and precise dwell-time measurements in the maintenance shops and in the yard.
