"The 6.4MW Vectron locomotives are AC-powered and have a top speed of 160km/h."

Siemens’s Vectron locomotives are planned to be used for distributing goods in unaccompanied combined transport (UCT).

A diesel module option available in all these rail vehicles will enable them to run for short stretches without overhead power lines, such as on sidings or in yards.

The deal with Railcare marks Siemens' first full-service contract in Switzerland.
