Michigan Department of Transportation (DOT) in the US has issued a request for proposal for the Chicago-Detroit rail corridor investment plan and environment study.

The proposal has been issued in partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Indiana Department of Transportation and Norfolk Southern Railway

Interested bidders can submit their proposals by 12 December 2011.

The project involves construction of a 304-mile corridor between Chicago and Detroit / Pontiac, which will be a part of the Chicago Hub Network.
