The Evolution Series Tier 4 engine is equipped with the latest technology of re-circulating exhaust gases back into the engine through an upgraded cooling system that reduces emissions by nearly 70%.
The decrease will enable the operator to comply with stringent environmental requirements.

By GlobalDataGE also noted that the Evolution Series comes with advanced digital capabilities that provide real-time information and data to improve performance.
The Tier 4 locomotive features more than 200 sensors that are competent to process nearly one billion instructions a second.
The procured data is evaluated through an automatic system and a group of technical specialists in real-time at GE Transportation’s Global Performance Optimization Centers (GPOC) and provide customised maintenance solutions to the operators.
