Eltek executive vice president Lars Dousa said: "Eltek has already been part of improving the reliability of a significant upgrade for the HS1 (High-Speed 1) link and this approval gives us new opportunities to add value to the wider rail network.

"The INV222 has full Network Rail approval, underlining confidence in our advanced power conversion technology. It’s a major event that we can now bring these systems to every station in the Network Rail system."

Eltek’s INV222 modular system with 2.25kVA capacity features high-efficiency switching power conversion technology along with control for operation and easy maintenance.

The system offers power in the range of 48VDC – 230VAC, which allows the company to integrate it with Eltek’s current used Flatpack2 HE rectifier products.
