French rail infrastructure management company SNCF Reseau, formerly known as Reseau Ferre de France, has announced a public offering of international bonds to raise Skr440m ($50.47m).
The bonds carry a coupon rate of 2.455% and are due in 2047.
Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A. has announced a public offering of international bonds to raise €550m ($615.63m).
Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori is an Italy-based passenger and goods transportation services provider.
GE has secured a $575m contract to deliver 100 GE ES30ACi Light Passenger Evolution Series locomotives from the Ministry of Transportation (MoT) and Egyptian National Railways (ENR).
The contract also includes a 15-year parts and technical support agreement.
Stadler subsidiary Stadler Pankow has won a €45m ($50.13m) contract to supply 16 Variobahn-type trams for Denmark's new Odense Letbane light rail system.
Stadler is a railway rolling stock manufacturer based in Switzerland.
Teleste subsidiary Teleste Information Solutions has won a contract to supply TFT-LCD displays for Deutsche Bahn's trains and stations, which will provide passengers with round-the-clock travel information.
Teleste is a technology company based in Finland, while Deutsche Bahn is a German railway company.
