CA Technologies has won a contract from the Victoria Government in Australia to deliver its project and portfolio management (PPM) software solution, CA Clarity PPM.

Under the contract, the company will provide a software solution to assist Victorian Rail Track (VicTrack) to manage projects efficiently and help deliver essential telecommunication and other services to support a safe and efficient public transport system.

It will also help deliver capital projects, property and telecommunication projects to support transport and other government priorities.

The contract was awarded in September and will be implemented for a period of six months.

VicTrack is the Victorian Government rail business unit that owns Victoria’s railway land and infrastructure, most of which is controlled and maintained by other parties, mainly Metro Trains Melbourne and V/Line.
