Brightline CEO Dave Howard said: “Two Brightline trainsets traveling 3,052 miles from California to Florida represent innovation in transportation and US manufacturing at its finest.

“Our Florida team looks forward to welcoming BrightGreen and BrightOrange to their new home as we continue with preparations to launch our service this summer.”

Workshop b is set to serve as the on-duty location for train crew members once the services commence operations.

The final trainset of the series will be named BrightRed and is scheduled to be delivered by the middle of next month. It is currently being developed at the Siemens facility.

Brightline's trains feature automatic level boarding platforms and aisles, as well as custom seats with multiple outlets for devices and Wi-Fi capabilities.

The introductory express service between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale is expected to begin in late July, while service to Miami will be added in late August. Brightline intends to start the full service in September.
