On February 23 2026, Pyrotek acquired assets related to the acoustic & thermal division of MAAD Sp. z.o.o., based in Poland, further strengthens the position of Pyrotek in the European market for advanced noise control and insulation solutions.

The acquisition represents an important step in strengthening Pyrotek’s acoustic & thermal capabilities and expanding its presence in key markets across Europe and globally. It further reinforces Pyrotek’s position as a provider of advanced acoustic and thermal solutions for the transport, construction, HVAC, and industrial sectors.

MAAD developed recognised expertise in hydrophobic melamine foam technology engineered to meet stringent fire performance requirements, including EN 45545-2, while maintaining the thermal and acoustic performance characteristics associated with traditional melamine foam. These capabilities remain highly relevant to both the transport and HVAC industries and further strengthen the existing acoustic & thermal offering.

In addition to expanding Pyrotek’s portfolio and manufacturing capabilities, the acquisition brings valuable customer relationships, particularly within the transport sector. Pyrotek has already begun supporting these customers through its integrated operations, ensuring continuity of supply, technical support, and service.

As part of the acquisition, key expertise and know-how associated with the business have been retained within Pyrotek, supporting a seamless transition for customers and business partners. The integration of technologies, manufacturing capabilities, and customer support functions has been carefully managed to ensure continuity of supply, consistent product quality, stable lead times, and uninterrupted technical and customer support.
