Infotec is pleased to announce successful registration to the Environmental Management System Standard ISO 14001: 2015 following an extensive two-day certification audit with the UKAS accredited company, Global Certification Group (UK).
Commenting on the audit itself, quality assurance manager Alan Reilly stated: “As most parts of the new version of this Environmental Management Standard are integral to Infotec’s daily work and well understood by our colleagues, performance of the audit and provision of evidence to demonstrate compliance was relatively straightforward.
“As a result, our internal audits and reviews will now be entirely consistent with our other certified management systems and will continue to improve Infotec’s performance without any further significant effort.”
Infotec managing director Tim Court added: “The continual improvement of environmental performance in our organisation and having a defined means to ensure compliance with any new or evolving legislation, has been both complementary and essential to our business activities over many years.
“We now have independent approval of the systems and the procedures we have developed, which will help to contribute towards both the sustainability and profitability of Infotec in the future.”
