LEROY AUTOMATION will be exhibiting at InnoTrans 2018, the world’s largest trade fair for transport technology.
This exhibition will be held in Messe Berlin, Germany, from 18-21 September. LEROY AUTOMATION’s booth will be on the French flagship pavilion located in Hall 3.2, 301.
During the InnoTrans show, LEROY AUTOMATION will reveal a world premiere innovation: TCMS-enabled fail-safe solid-state power controller technology.
This Ethernet-based solution incorporates multiple high-power output channels featuring: real-time current monitoring, user-programmable breaker tripping curves, PWM capability and ON/OFF current curve recording. It is highly reliable and designed to meet SIL2 safety level requirements. The module includes cybersecurity elements such as HTTPS and advanced hardware encryption. Typical user-applications include:
· UIC 559-compliant remote monitoring for operators’ maintenance activities
· Sequencing / monitoring of power-up / shutdown of electrical subsystems
· Multi-channel digital circuit breakers to optimise electrical cabinets
· Lighting subsystem control unit
· DC motor control (H-bridge)
Industrial cooperation will also be showcased on FBO’s booth (Hall 11.2 / 210), experts in pneumatic / electro-pneumatic systems, where a secured and innovative automatic speed-servo controlled sanding system for rolling stock vehicles will be demonstrated live.
