The EBI Gate family gives a flexible level crossing solution for all crossings. The system includes signals for both trackside and for roadside functions. Different barrier machines are available. The logical unit is programmable and can be adapted for different applications. The default solution uses wheel detectors, but we can also provide solutions with track circuits or with activation orders given by the interlocking system.
EBI Gate level crossings provide highly reliable barriers and signals across a main line or mass transit network. Various types of occupancy detectors and warning devices can be applied as required. The key benefits to customers are user-friendly maintenance and short repair times.
EBI Gate 2000 / Level crossing system (SPA-5)
EBI Gate 2000 (SPA-5) automatic level crossing system can be installed at railroad crossings that are either automatically operated or manually controlled by a crossing keeper or a train dispatcher. The railroad crossing can be located either on open lines or at nearby stations and passenger stops. It can be installed at a single or multiple track line which can be electrified or non-electrified. The number, arrangement and type of equipment to be applied in the level crossing system can be defined for each specific application.
EBI Gate 2000 (SPA-5) was developed according to CENELEC standards to achieve Safety Integrity Level 4 (SIL4). Thanks to its modularity, EBI Gate 2000 (SPA-5) can be adapted to various requirements of different markets without compromising the main safety concept, and guarantees high system reliability, maintainability and availability. It can be offered in the special level crossing hutor or mounted on the rack that can be placed in the technical room preferred by the local railway authority or required by the local market.

EBI Gate 630 electrical gate machines, type EEG-3, can be used for various purposes, such as level crossings and platform transit at railway stations, ferry ports, movable bridges, and entrance and exit gates for factories and airports.
EBI Gate 600 /JEGD 601/602 barrier machine
EBI Gate 600 barrier machines, type JEGD, can be used for a range of applications, including platform transit and level crossings at railway stations, movable bridges, ferry ports, and the entrance and exit gates of airports and factories. The barrier machine can be fitted either with a wooden barrier with a length of 2m-11m, or a tubular barrier with a length of 2m-5m.
EBI Gate 200 enhanced user-worked crossing system
The EBI Gate 200 crossing system is intended to alert people to oncoming trains when crossing tracks in rural areas. It is the first crossing of its kind designed to harness renewable energy in order to reduce its environmental impact.
Installation of the EBI Gate 200 into brownfield sites is more cost effective due to the fact that testing is conducted in the factory prior to installation and commissioning. This minimises the need for on-site testing.
