CPK aims to award the contract in Q1 2027, with project completion targeted for 2031.

Upgrades will target regional railways as well as lines within the EU’s Trans European Transport Network, with work due to be completed by 2030.
The agreements, now in effect, assign the supply of multi-ducts to Höhle and cable-ducts to Pipelife Eesti, both Estonian companies.
The additional trains will help Transport for London meet rising passenger demand and prepare for future connections.
FGC Mobilitat will operate the trains, which are expected to enter service between late 2026 and early 2027.
