Greenbrier Companies has acquired a 19.5% stake in Bazil-based castings and components manufacturer Amsted-Maxion Cruzeiro.

This provides Greenbrier Companies a 35% direct and indirect ownership in the outstanding equity of Greenbrier-Maxion, which is co-owned by thw two companies.
