The very latest LED and TFT passenger information displays by Infotec, the leading supplier to the UK rail industry, will be featured at Innotrans 2014.

Showcased in a set-up similar to a London Underground station, products being demonstrated will include station, retail and on-vehicle displays, as well as Infotec’s advanced information management (AIM) system.

Established more than 21 years ago, Infotec’s new products are the result after years of continuous research and development.

The award-winning company’s newly launched TFT range of high-definition displays features the Infotec in-house designed Tetrus control engine. Tetrus is a state-of-the-art controller based on the famous ARM processor. Running a Linux or Android operating system, the displays are available in a range of sizes in both fully ruggedised (TR) and semi-ruggedised (TS) enclosures.

Our LED products have also moved forwards. Infotec is constantly evaluating, improving and delivering the best and most reliable displays. A new customer-driven development has been undertaken to investigate white LEDs in order to create additional impact. An example of this can be seen on our stand.

Infotec’s managing director Tim Court, our UK rail sales manager Nigel Hewson and our production planning and purchasing manager Matt Ward will be on the Innotrans stand throughout the event.

Speaking ahead of the Berlin event, Tim Court says: "Infotec continues to invest and develop products and services to meet the needs of a 21st century market and we are delighted to demonstrate this at Innotrans 2014.

"We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand where we will be available to demonstrate and talk about our new products and discuss how they and others in our extensive portfolio can meet and exceed client expectations."

Innotrans 2014 is open from September 23 to 26 at Messe Berlin, Germany.
