Railroad engineering, construction and maintenance services American Track has announced that it has acquired Dirtworks Rail of the Carolinas (HGNS Inc).
Dirtworks Rail of the Carolinas will now function as a business unit of American Track.

American Track came into existence after Hilltop Private Capital combined two rail service corporations in 2016.
The company stated that it has acquired numerous entities that operate in nine locations across the country under the name ‘American Track’.
These entities offer rail support services to important mines, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, ports, refineries, railcar maintenance, trans-load facilities, shortline and mainline railroads in the US.
American Track president and CEO Thomas Lucario said: “Mark Snyder has built a great railroad service company with a strong reputation for excellence in the Carolinas and beyond. We are excited to add the former Dirtworks Rail organisation to our ever-growing team here at American Track and be able to offer additional capabilities to the Dirtworks Rail customers.”
