Once the DELMIA Quintiq solution is integrated with Eurostar’s existing systems, it will enable the train operator to optimise planning for train drivers, managers and control room staff in three countries across Europe.

The solution, which will be hosted on the cloud, will also help in streamlining the scheduling of detailed train maintenance plans across all time zones.

As a result, Eurostar will be able to reduce time spent on data entry or administrative work whilst improving its long-term planning capabilities and productivity.

Eurostar said that a user-friendly mobile app will maintain a consistent flow of communication among all its employees.
