TfL will also adopt OnTrac’s schematics on-demand solution eTrac-GIS, a geospatial digital mapping platform for the railway industry. Besides conventional usage, TfL plans to use eTrac-GIS as a possession planning tool.

OnTrac chief technical officer Mark Atkinson said: “The rail industry is already seeing the benefits of RailHub and eTrac-GIS.

“We’re excited to see how the Elizabeth line will benefit from using eTrac-GIS as a possession planning tool and will be looking to see how we can adapt our products in future, to continue benefitting the rail industry.”

Owned by Tracsis, OnTrac is engaged in the development and supply of software solutions to digitise and streamline workflows across the rail industry.
