Over 40 major cities around the world, including Hong Kong, New York, Paris, and London, use our metro systems. One in four metro cars in use around the world today, have been built by ALSTOM.

CITADIS™ LIGHT RAIL VEHICLE

The CITADIS™ family offers modular and flexible transport solutions for urban transport. It provides a unique symbol for each city, and is fully flexible in vehicle length, width, number of cars, high or low floor and more. Using ALSTOM’s latest engineering know-how, CITADIS™ is designed to meet passenger expectations in terms of easy accessibility and comfort (35% more glass surfaces than traditional trams). CITADIS™ adapts easily to address inner city requirements, while blending in naturally with its environment. CITADIS™ is easy to upgrade, and also keeps maintenance and repair costs down. As a result of its flexibility, reduced delivery times and lower operating costs are part of CITADIS™'s increased competitiveness.

• CITADIS™ 200 series - steel carbody, partial low floor
