RUGGED CONVERTERS DESIGNED TO MEET RAILWAY STANDARDSAbsopulse's railway power supplies are designed to meet rail-specific standards including EN50121-3-2 and EN50155. They are mechanically rugged for reliable operation under very harsh field conditions, with additional protection to ensure immunity to shock, vibration, dust, moisture, humidity, salt, chemicals, oil and fog available. These units operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C and humidity up to 95%, and are typically conduction or convection cooled. Absopulse power supplies feature high efficiency, low EMI (output noise) and full protection against surges and transients. Options such as output fail alarms, redundancy, multiple inputs or outputs are available. All Absopulse power supplies are designed for 20yrs to 30yrs operating life. CHASSIS-MOUNT, DIN RAIL-MOUNT OR EUROCARD FOR POWER SYSTEMSChassis or DIN rail-mountable units are available in sealed or vented enclosed packages. Most designs are also available in Eurocard plug-in formats for modular power systems, usually delivered in pre-wired 19in or 23in shelves. Power distribution systems are also available. DC-DC CONVERTERSAbsopulse's rugged, high-density DC-DC converters accept standard nominal inputs of 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 96V and 110VDC. Higher input voltages up to 800VDC are possible. Outputs of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48VDC are standard. AC-DC POWER SUPPLIES AND BATTERY CHARGERSWe offer an extensive range of rugged AC-DC power supplies with 85VAC to 264VAC universal input. Most designs are available with power factor correction. Absopulse also provides a wide range of battery chargers. DC-AC INVERTERS AND AC-AC FREQUENCY CONVERTERSThe CSI series of rugged, sine wave inverters provides 115V, 230VAC or any other AC voltage, at 50Hz to 400Hz, single or three phase. Standard inputs are 12V, 24V, 48V, 72V, 110V or 250VDC. An extensive range of frequency and phase converters is also available. BACK-LIGHT INVERTERS FOR LCD DISPLAYSThe SWI series of rugged, compact dimmable back-light inverters features high efficiency, constant current output, short circuit protection, low EMI and very wide dimming ranges. Tens of thousands of these units are operating in the field in airborne, shipboard and land-based systems for military and civilian applications.
