Invensys Rail has won a £28m contract from Network Rail for signalling work on the Reading Western mainline in the UK.
The project includes remodelling of the Reading station area from Sonning to Pangbourne, building a new train care depot and four new platforms that will increase passenger capacity at the station.
Under the four-year contract, the company will design, supply, install, test and commission the signalling works, including new LED signals, gantries and posts, and new line side equipment.
The project is expected to be completed by August 2015.
