GPS security company infiniDome has announced its participation with its partner Focus Telecom for the installation of GPS repeaters at more than 30 railway stations across Israel.
These GPS repeaters will be deployed by Focus Telecom and offer a precise, location-based service indoors at all places for a new Israel Railways ticketing app.
The project will also include a monitoring service that detects and sends real-time alerts of any GPS disruption or intrusion soon after its identification.
This monitoring service will be facilitated by infiniDome’s Cloud-based GPS monitoring service, infiniCloud, and its IoT GPSensor.
Focus Telecom CEO Ehud Sharar said: “Incorporating infiniDome’s proven resilient PNT capability to monitor and protect such a critical GPS service is a necessary enhancement for government-designated critical infrastructures.”
infiniDome’s monitoring technology for critical assets senses and alerts operators of disruptions and threats of the crucial GPS signals.
