RAIL PADS FOR METRO

A new rail pad for metro and tram lines has been developed. The difference between static and dynamic stiffness from 0 to 80 Hertz of frequency is less than 40%.

This is specially given by the new profile and the new compound, which has also a protection against attack of micro-organism.

On the Italian market the pads are designed as PGS 5 and PGS 9 Pads.

NOW A MATERIAL ALSO FOR METRO LINES.

The new LVT and SBB pads with the material “Zellrex Rail” passed all the test. A new generation is going to be put on the market for the metro lines applications “Zellrex Metro”.

These special materials have the great advantage that the difference between static and dynamic stiffness is less than 20% with application with 20 Hz frequency, but even by higher frequency. No influence of temperature and other external conditions change the physical values of the pads!

LEVEL CROSSING SWISSCROSS

To the end of last year the first 10 SWISSCROSS level crossings were put in Switzerland on SBB and private railways, in different applications.

Rex has developed a new system to connect the rubber level crossing with the road or the existing buildings. It is a very fast method to make the connecting parts on place or with concrete or with asphalt.

The system is called EASY FIT and can be used for all “complicated situation” of crossing .
