Neumarkt, Germany — In a change in management at RAIL.ONE, Tilo Brandis (42), until now CEO, has left the company amicably and at his own wish, to take effect immediately. His successor is Ralf Sobottka (49), who has been chief financial officer (CFO) at the company since April 2008.

Ralf Sobottka, who has a degree in economics, has long years of national and international experience in management, which has resulted in ongoing dynamic development of the company. Before his move to RAIL.ONE, he was CFO at DyStar Group — preceded by leading positions in the financial management of the Henkel and Cognis Group.

According to Ralf Sobottka, “Thanks to its innovative and practically oriented products in the market occupied by providers of railway track systems, RAIL.ONE has assumed a leading position around the world. To continue on its successful course, it is above all essential to have committed staff — in addition to an outstanding product portfolio and continued innovations — and RAIL.ONE has 800 such committed employees throughout the world.”
