Systra has received a project management contract from French Government institution Société du Grand Paris (SGP) for the construction of two lines of the Grand Paris Express.
Under the agreement, Systra will offer technical project management assistance for metro line 15 Est (East) and metro line 15 Ouest (West), to be constructed as a design and build project.

Systra will assist SGP in defining the programme, managing of tenders and construction part of these lines.
Together, these lines will cover a distance of around 43km and serve 27 communities on their routes. Once operational, the lines are expected to serve one million passengers every day.
The technical aspect of the project will start in September and commissioning is estimated to begin in 2030.

Last October, Alise joint venture (JV) secured a contract valued at €71m to implement the electrical infrastructure of Grand Paris Express Line 15 South.
The JV is led by VINCI Energies through its subsidiary SDEL Transport Grands Projets, in collaboration with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes.
In September, Alstom secured a €280m contract from Société du Grand Paris to build and supply a total of 150 cars for the 15, 16 and 17 lines of the Grand Paris Express.
