The latest contract award follows the signing of an agreement with the Pulse consortium last month to deliver the tunnel, stations and development PPP package for the Cross River Rail project. The Pulse consortium also includes CIMIC Group companies.

Under the RIS package contract, Unity Alliance will design, supply and install supporting rail systems, as well as carry out brownfield works to integrate the Cross River Rail with existing train network.

The package includes signalling and telecommunications works, upgrading Exhibition station, refurbishing Mayne Yard and improving rail operational systems.

CIMIC Group CEO Michael Wright said: “CIMIC Group continues to provide essential infrastructure for the cities and local communities in which we live, providing important new services and helping to drive economic development.
