Hollysys Automation Technologies has received a CNY118.7m ($19.4m) contract from China Railway Corporation to supply onboard and lineside high-speed signalling equipment.

Under the deal, Hollysys will provide automatic train protection (ATP) equipment and systems for high-speed trains in 200km/h-250km/h and 300km/h-350km/h respectively.

The delivery of the equipment is expected to be completed by October.

The onboard signalling equipment ATP works together with the ground-based signalling equipment train control centre (TCC), as the critical control elements in the high-speed railway signalling systems to ensure the safety and reliability of the high-speed railway operation.
