The braking systems include brake control devices, air generation and treatment units, brake disc units and other auxiliary equipment.

Faiveley will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and supply of the equipment and the delivery is expected to begin later this year.

Bombardier was awarded the contract last summer, taking the total number of Movia trains ordered by DMRC from 614 to 776 vehicles.
