Swedish manufacturer Dellner has signed a joint venture (JV) contract with Qingdao Victall Railway Company to establish Dellner Victall Gangway System in Qingdao, China.

The new company integrates Dellner’s Gangway technology with the strong sales and manufacturing capacity of Victall, with aim to contribute to the progress of the Chinese railway industry.

Dellner’s chief executive officer and president David Pagels said: "The Chinese railway market is one of the most exciting and challenging markets in the world and also the most important market for Dellner.

"The new company integrates Dellner’s Gangway technology with the strong sales and manufacturing capacity of Victall."

"We will bring advanced technology and expertise into the joint venture company to meet Chinese customers’ expectations both for high-speed railways and metros."

Victall is a group of companies, which produce modular products for intercity trains, high-speed locomotives, and metros.

The company primarily focuses on the development of railway equipment and auxiliary components, including kitchen modules, plug door systems, interiors modules, and toilet systems.
