With over fifty years of specialized experience in the railroad industry and over $150 million of equipment leases, our experts develop customized, knowledge-based solutions to fit your current and future needs. Our professionals evaluate your requirements and deliver a program that works for you.

INSERTER REMOVERS

FCM supplies many of our customers with tie inserter removers which exchange up to nine ties per minute while maintaining track alignment. The production tie handler manages switch ties with ease while retaining proportional control for precise tie handling.

TAMPERS

Whether it’s a Mark IV or a 3300 Tandem Tamper, FCM has the appropriate tamper for your project and budget. Capable of raising, aligning and tamping up to 2,600 feet of track per hour, tampers are one of the most widely used MOW machines.

BALLAST REGULATORS

Ballast regulators shape and profile track. FCM offers low, medium, and high production ballast regulators based on your needs. Depending on the job requirements, FCM will make the best recommendation to fit your budget.

TIE CRANES

Tie cranes are utilized in new tie gang production and for old tie removal. These units place ties in preparation for insertion in front of the tie inserter. Manufactured from steel tubing and heavy deck plates, the heavy duty all welded reinforced construction withstands loading and extends equipment life.

SPIKE DRIVERS

Spike driving machines are a fast, powerful solution for your spike driving needs. Spike drivers can drive up to two spikes per rail at once for a total of four at a time in each tie. The extra capacity spike trays hold up to 60 spikes each. The hydraulically operated gun spotting system allows fast alignment of the guns with the tie plate holes.

EXHIBITIONS

FCM Rail will be an exhibitor at the NRC Conference 2008, held at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Palm Springs, California, between the 2nd and 5th of January 2008.
