Microwave transmission systems

In the last few years network operators are facing rapid growth and fast migration from TDM to packed traffic. The main challenge is how to optimize investments and reduce maintenance costs. The transition from legacy circuit network (TDM) to high-speed packet network is rapid and new equipment must support both technologies. New telecom operators need low entry and operational costs, but also scalable equipment in order to follow future market developments.

Our SparkWave microwave transmission system is optimized for very different propagation conditions in different weather conditions.

All SparkWave product lines have standard split mount design. According to project needs there are different indoor and outdoor units adjusted to specifics of the market. Special applications such as all indoor are also available.

SparkWave SDR indoor unit product line has a modular concept. Different housings and high integration level allow easy interconnection, stacking with ESSI interface and direct connection to existent F/O networks.

Optical transmission

SparkLight is a compact, powerful, high-density and user-friendly, next generation SDH multiservice node for provisioning of PCM (voice, data), PDH (E1, E3), SDH (STM-1, STM-4, STM-16) and Ethernet (FE, GbE) over SDH.

Used as an add/drop multiplexer on the SDH ring (or as a terminal multiplexer at the remote site), the SparkLight product line improves Ethernet bandwidth efficiency via GFP, VCAT and LCAS protocols and also supports TDM mapping for termination at any point in the SDH network.

Power line carrier communications

To ensure a trouble-free and reliable operation, any power system requires a telecommunication system of its own, enabling the transmission of various kinds of information, speech, data and teleprotection. In addition to standard telecommunication technologies, the power industry also uses HV Power Line Carrier Communication, utilizing high-voltage power lines as the transmission medium.
