Railcar manufacturer CRRC MA has been awarded a contract to deliver 120 Red Line cars as an extension to an earlier order of 132 cars by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), US.
The new cars feature latest propulsion and braking systems, and will replace the existing fleet of older models by 2020.
