Metro 300 trains are capable of transporting up to 30,000 passengers every hour in each direction.

The addition of the new fleet is expected to substantially increase ridership along the Kelena Jaya Line, as well as support Malaysia’s aim to ensure 40% of all commutes across the Klang Valley are made using public transportation by 2030.

Bombardier is currently working to provide an additional fleet of 27 four-car Innovia Metro 300 trains to Prasarana by 2022, in addition to carrying out a major renovation programme on the Kelana Jaya Line's original vehicle fleet.
